Anna is one of Australia’s most respected experts in privacy law and practice. With her qualifications in law, public policy and management, and over 30 years’ experience in legal, policy, research and consulting roles, Anna brings a breadth of perspectives and a wealth of experience to dealing with our clients’ privacy and data governance challenges.

Throughout her career, Anna has provided advice on managing privacy risks to clients including tech start-ups, established businesses and government agencies, including conducting Privacy Impact Assessments on large and highly complex cross-jurisdictional projects such as the launch of the NDIS and the design of the My Health Record scheme. As the former Deputy Privacy Commissioner for NSW, Anna also brings a unique insight into privacy from the regulator’s perspective.

Anna is Westin Emeritus Fellow with the IAPP, and in 2022 was one of five privacy professionals globally awarded the prestigious Vanguard Award.  Anna continues to shape global privacy practices, serving on expert groups for the OECD and the Future of Privacy Forum.
